First of all *DISCLAIMER* The instrument cluster on this vehicle was replaced 10/27/2005 at BMW dealership in Gainesville, FL. Something was not done correctly and the mileage was reset to zero. Mileage at time of replacement was 33305 and mileage that is now on the odometer is 39460, hence 73000 miles. Photos of odometer and plaque showing when cluster was replaced are both included. I'm saying this now so it's not a surprise to anyone who may bid. The car is in very good condition for it's age. I'll give you the negatives first. The biggest cosmetic flaw is the outer bolsters on the front driver and passenger seats. Most of these cars have far worse wear and tear on the seats. Passenger side is just starting to crack and drivers side is worse but has not gone all the way through the material yet. I've included photos. Other than that, there are a few very small dents that could be repaired for under $50, an inch long scratch on the passenger door, an inch long scratch on the left front fender, and about 4 rock chips on the front of the hood. All pretty minor stuff. The driver side mirror wiring has been cut so the mirror motor doesn't work. Easy fix. Everything else works properly. Now for the good. Like I said, the seats are in much better condition than most. The rest of the interior is perfect. I replaced the headliner when it started falling down and had it professionally rewrapped in alcantara along with the A-pillars, C-pillars, and the shelf under the rear window. It looks like it came like that from the factory. The wheels have no chips or curb rash, including the spare. The headlights are still clear (they get cloudy when not taken care of). There are no mechanical issues except a faulty brake light switch that I will replace before selling anyway. The A/C is cold and the control panel has already had the common repair needed (capacitor replacement). Other than the alcantara headliner, everything is stock. Front brake pads and rotors have about 5000 miles life left on them. I have the replacement pads and rotors. They will be sold with the car. (about $600 at the dealership) I just replaced the rear pads and rotors. They have less than 2000 miles on them. Stock rotors, Satisfied Pro Ceramic pads front and rear. Has Yokohama S.drive tires all around. No damage to any of them. Approximately 70% life left on fronts, 40% on rears. The spare is a Michelin Pilot Sport, never been used. I also have 3 used Bridgestone Potenzas that fit the fronts that will be included in the sale if wanted. About 60% life left on those. They each need a patch in the center of the tread. For the last five years, the vehicle has had synthetic Mobil 1 and BMW oil filters every 7k miles. (BMW says almost 15k miles is ok. I don't think so, personally) Car cover is included with purchase. Perfect condition. I am the third owner of the vehicle. I've had it for 3 years. My dad was the second. He purchased it in Austin, TX at the BMW dealership with 21k miles on it in 2005. We are both non-smokers. Not sure about the first owner but it doesn't smell like smoke. I am a trained BMW technician and have done all the repairs and maintenance on the vehicle except the instrument cluster replacement since my dad bought it. I will accept paypal but I will not transfer the vehicle or the title until the payment has gone through. I prefer to sell locally but I'll ship it in the continental U.S. if that's the only way a deal can be done. Buyer pays shipping costs. Thanks for looking.
