Vehicle Detail

www.fordf100.weebly.com www.fordf100.weebly.com This is a 1971 ford f100 in great shape. It does not need to be restored, it is perfect for driving daily or just driving around town as it is. Although if that's what your into it is a perfect candidate for a show restoration as well. I drive this truck and I love it, mostly because of the great gas mileage it gets but also for the looks I get. This truck is very clean, clean enough to go on a date in or show to your buddies without a massive detailing. It runs quiet also so no worry about waking the neighbor's when you come home late, but don't let that fool you this truck is very strong; it can burn rubber any time!!! Unlike other trucks of this age there's no need to pump the gas this truck starts easily every time, but just in case it also has a factory installed choke for those winter mornings I suppose. As far as the engine itself; its a 302 has all new gaskets (oil, valve, water, front, head, etc.) also new filters. Timing has been checked, water pump has been changed, and it has a good battery, and there are no leaks knocks ticks or anything like that at all. All in all under the hood is solid. The trans is a 3 on the tree the clutch is great, it releases right in the middle of its stride and the gears shift like the were made yesterday. Also have a new steering wheel installed (the old one was a little dilapidated); and I chose to go with a smaller one for sake of feng shui, but besides that one little thing this truck is 100% original. This truck is complete there are no breaks or chips in the glass, every light works and gets a signal such as the instrument panel, controls and what they operate, even the flashers work. the wind shield wiper motor works perfect. This truck has drum brakes all around, but they work perfect and would not need replacing any time soon in fact their so strong that they break like their new, even the e-brake is in perfect working order. The tires are all good all with at least 1/2 tread still on them but the best thing about the tires is their on the original mag rims, these are practically the first mag wheel ever made if not the first. Like I said everything works including the heater; that heater will turn it into the sahara in seconds and the best part is its quiet, in fact you can bearly hear it run. Another added bonus to this truck is the radio, it comes with the original 8 track player, and it works; so if you've got any now's a good time to dust em off and reminisce. And to finish up the description of the interior the head liner and visors are in great shape probably the seat is the only thing that's just o.k. As far as the body both the doors and the hood open and shut with ease, a 2 year old could operate them their that smooth. The bumpers both are in great shape as well as the grill which is another rarity for this age truck. The locks all work, work off the same key as the ignition. In my opinion the paint is just fantastic, but that's just my opinion. All in all the body is in good shape with minimal rust; I would say 99% rust free. Well I hope that has answered any questions that anyone has, or may have, But if I've missed something or you just want to drop a line feel free to get in touch; you can email me here it goes straight to my yahoo anyway or if you need info quicker give me a call 404-254-7542 but please no calls after ten. Also I think this needs mentioning if you are a zero feedback bidder especially if you just signed up; (and unless you email me AND get a response from me before you bid) I will delete your bid, its nothing personal. Also I took the time to create a web site for you all to see more picture of the truck than I have put on here and it would be greatly appreciated if you all would check it out. the web site is www.fordf100.weebly.com and if you have trouble typing it in simply copy and paste it from above. Have a great day, happy hunting, and thank you for taking the time to look at my truck, Matthew. www.fordf100.weebly.com www.fordf100.weebly.com
