1987 TOYOTA LANDCRUISER FJ60. ALL ORIGINAL, 100 % RUST FREE NEW MEXICO VEHICLE!!! CLEAN NM TITLE!!!!! ONE OWNER. Up for auction is a 1987 Toyota FJ60 Landcruiser of which I am the second owner . This vehicle was bought new in New Mexico and has never been registered in any other state. I know the full history of this vehicle as I bought it from the original owner. This vehicle has been meticulously maintained by both the first owner and myself. The cruiser was parked seven years ago do to the transfer locking up in 4wd. I purchased it and brought it back to life. Currently the cruiser runs excellent and strong with Zero smoke and no noises. It starts right up using the stock pull choke and two pumps of the gas. Cruises down the road at 75 all day long. Stops on a dime with no tracking. 4 wheel drive works great. Shift smooth and easy. The car is 100% original. It has NEVER been repainted. The original paint that is on it now is fading from the New Mexico sun. The hood and top are a couple shades off (look at pics) but no where is it down to the metal. It does have it's share of scratches and door chips. The interior is in great shape. No tears anywhere. Headliner seats door panels are beautiful, carpet is good but a little dirty (look at pics). This cruiser has not been super detailed for the auction. The way you see it is the way it is...very nice. I have invested over 2.5k in mechanical work over the last three months at a professional shop. Repairs include but are not limited to: Having the Complete fuel system removed, cleaned and replaced (gas tank flushed, new carb, filters, fuel lines, fuel pump). Complete tear-down and R&R of the transfer case. R&R of Rear axle seals and breaks. New smog pump. New belts. New clutch. Complete drain and replace of break fluid. Full tune up. I have a clean New Mexico Title in my hand!!!!!!!! PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR OVERVIEW AND MORE INFO. New parts that have been installed in the past three months: 1. Complete R&R of transfer case. 2. New rear breaks 3. New rear axle seals 4. New/rebuilt carburetor 5. All fluids changes. 6. New clutch 7. New smog pump. 8. New fuel pump 9. New belts 10. New fuel line and filter 11. Full tune up 12. New fuel sender unit 13. New windshield wipers OVERVIEW: Exterior: original and 100% rust free. Dent on rear tail gate which is not to bad (look at pics) also both corners were slightly dented and the original owner drill them to "pull" the small dents out very minor (look at pics). Paint is as described as above. Interior: All original and clean: nothing missing. Nice radio with amp under seat with speakers, but does not work. Dash is in decent condition with cracks, it does have a dash mat though. Electrical: Everything works as it should with no problems. All gauges work correctly. AC: Has AC, but it does NOT blow cold. I have NOT tried to get it to work...Recharge? Tires: Tires have good tread and are drivable but i would replace them if you were to make a cross country trip.. Glass: All original. the front windshield has two chips. The rest of the glass is in great shape with no issues. Bads: Needs tires, No cold AC. Needs antenna. Small driver side marker light is cracked. ***A very modest reserve has been set*** Overall this is a great cruiser. I would feel super confident jumping in and taking it cross country (with new tires of course). You can definitely fly here and drive it home if you want.
