Hey all, thanks for reading the description of my beautiful STI. BACKSTORY I picked this car up not too long ago and it was in rough shape. It had only been driven for a few months out of the year as its previous owner worked offshort and was rarely home to enjoy this car. By rough shape I mean the paint had been neglected. The cars oil had been changed as scheduled, but the garage it was in was very dusty and humid. The paint suffered and contained lots of hard water spots, grime and some things iv never seen before. It was swirled up pretty bad and needed some TLC. I got the car home and began to detail it. But it was soon apparent that i could not detail it with wax and clay-bar. I employed a local detail whiz to see what he could do about it. Needless to say, a few days later I picked the car up and needed sunglasses just to look at it. The thing looks beautiful. It also uncovered a few small dents in the hood. very small dents, you cant see them in the pics, but they are there. I cannot at the time afford to get them taken out, but rest assured, you can bid on this car and when you pick the car up, the price you bid will be adjusted for the dents in the hood. They are small and you probably wont see them at first glance, but they are there. They are about the size of a plastic airsoft pellet. There is also a dent about 1.5" long on the front driver side fender that could be removed by paintless dent repair. However just a few days after I had picked the car up, I learned I was selected to study abroad overseas and would be gone for 6 months to a year, depending on my class schedule. I would love to keep the car, but i cannot afford to keep it in storage, and insured while a full time student over seas. My loss is your gain. I am the second owner, you will be the third. I have put about 400 miles on the car since I picked it up. I have put a considerable amount of time and money in the car making everything right and just the way I want it. DESCRIPTION The car has 5300 miles on it now. Clear title in hand, no liens or loans. It has the new car smell still and drives just like youd expect a new STI to drive. The 2004 STI was the first year the STI was brought over to the US and is regarded as the best year to many collectors and car enthusiasts. Recently, Barrett Jackson stated that the 2004 STI in low mileage, stock, good condition will be worth a lot of money in 10-15 years. Another thing that makes this car more rare is the paint. This was the only year that the Java Black Pearl paint code was offered. It is a very deep rich paint with loads of flake that really make this car shine!
