This is a 1986 Corvette convertible with no engine or transmission. It would be a good project car or source of parts for your project. The paint is very thick, and will need to be stripped and re-painted. Tires need replacement, and some odds and ends are missing. The seats, carpet, dash top, door panels, and convertible top are useable for a driver-quality car. Almost everything else will require restoration. It would be best to inspect the car before buying - the car is located about 75 miles southwest of Chicago.
