You are viewing a beautiful 1991 Cadillac Brougham Limousine. The 90-92 Cadillac Limousines were hands down the most desirable, sharpest and most well built body style for the Cadillac Brougham Limousine conversions. Most had a half of million miles and were crushed in scrap yards years ago. Of the ones that remain most are your garden variety 6-door funeral/airport shuttle car. The limo livery business generally went for the more mass converted and subsequently cheaper Lincoln Towncar conversions. There was some nice Lincoln conversions, but hey, they were no Cadillac by any means. Unlike the 89 and previous years for the Cadillac Brougham limo the 90-92 models you got much superior mechanics in the car, such as the 5.7 litre fuel injected V8, HD 700R transmission with trans cooler and the corporate 8.5 differential versus the puny 7.5 that was in the 86-89 models. In addition the cosmetics of these cars were greatly refined with euro headlights, integrated bumpers that wrapped around to the front fender wells and new lower side moldings. Then you had your choice in conversion companies. There were many slop conversions out there with horrible fit and finish and cheap thrown together electronics and components and then there was the good conversions. The top two conversion companies as far as quality back in 1991 would be DaBryan Coachworks or Armbruster Stageway. This very rare Limousine offered today was converted by DaBryan Coachworks for John Pillsbury of the Pillsbury Cookie and Dough Co. This Limousine is a 85 inch stretch, double cut, raised roof with wedding doors on both sides. The raised roof in and of itself was very rare back in 1991. This is a very labor intensive option since the original roof line is discarded and a new raised roof is installed with all new structuring and integrity. This is covered with a beautiful black stay-fast cloth top. VERY dressy! Unbelievable head space is gained in the rear compartment. The double cut is also a difficult and very expensive option in the conversion. Not only has length been added to the midsection of the limousine, but the coach builder has also lengthened the car just behind the rear doors. Notice the distance between the rear door and the rear fender well not to mention the lengthened C-pillars. This option allows the back seat to sit farther back on the frame allowing easy in and out access and also giving the rear passengers added privacy by sitting behind the C-pillar. You don't have to climb around the back seat when getting into THIS limo. The "wedding door" is a nick name in the limo business for rear doors lengthened at the limo conversion company, usually 8-10 additional inches are added to the rear passenger door (curbside)for much easier access when getting in and out of the limousine especially for brides in wedding gowns. Rare as this option is, this Limousine has these wedding doors on BOTH sides, hence the double door panel grab handle sections on each interior rear door. This is another very rare option, especially in 1991. In theory, this car is triple cut because of the additional lengthening in the rear door section to accommodate the wedding doors. The factory name for the color of this Limousine is "Ruby Red Maple Firemist" and 1991 was the only year Cadillac offered this gorgeous color. This Limousine was repainted in August of 2009 to factory color code. The black stay-fast cloth top has also been replaced and is in excellent shape. The chrome is in excellent shape as well. The glove soft cream color leather interior is a beautiful contrast to the Red Firemist and black cloth top, and is in near perfect shape and is all original. Beautiful solid walnut cabinetry throughout. This Cadillac only has 110K easy miles on the clock. This is very low miles for a 19 year old Limousine. Obsessively maintained since new and is being sold by its fourth owner. The first owner was Mr Pillsbury. This custom built limo was used on a daily basis to run My Pillsbury back and forth to work. The next two owners were both collectors. The last owner (collector) lived in California and would enter this limo in local car shows. The 4 matching tires has 85% tread life left. All chrome and glass is near perfect. The complete AC system has been replaced as well as the exhaust system from the converter back to the rear bumper. There is new brakes on the front, 4 new shocks, new plugs, wires, fuel pump, fuel filter, air filter, pcv valve, basically a complete tune up and a new battery. Oil was switched over to full synthetic Valvoline oil. New am-fm-cd player in the rear with new sony speakers and rear amps, new 2 way intercom phone system for front to rear. This beautiful Cadillac spins heads like no other! Hotel concierges are always thrilled to have this Limousine sitting in their front drive. Wow! Look at the curb presence of this beautiful limousine! There is no other limo on the globe quite like this one. Bumpers, chrome and trim near perfect condition The lack of wear on the drivers seat speaks volumes as far as the easy life this Limousine has had. This is a good view of the extended "wedding door". Notice the length of this door and the double grab handles. VERY rare and even more rare that this limo has these doors on BOTH sides! Halo lighting as well as under seat accent lighting, overhead full length leather wrapped grab handle on both sides in the rear. Notice the extra long wedding door. This interior is a well preserved work of art Glove soft leather seating, 6 way pwr reclining rear bucket seats(again, very rare) with solid walnut and leather wrapped console. overhead and over shoulder reading lamps throughout. Look at that incredible headroom with the raised roof option. Beautiful carpeting and under seat storage. This Limousine has both the glass and the solid privacy divider. intercom phone to the chauffeur, pwr slide open and close wet bar doors, as well as tv cabinet. Carpet overlay in rear, the whole interior is all original and in Perfect shape. Double lighted vanity mirrors in rear. 7 stainless steel, self draining ice bins. Solid Walnut console and cabinetry, AM-FM-CD player 4 speaker with sony amps in the rear. This Limousine will come with a professionally made custom car cover that goes bumper to bumper and touches the ground all the way around the car. a heavy nylon canvas material. If a bidder has excessive negative feedback we will delete their bids and block bidder from this auction. CONDITION Although rare and one of a kind, this Limousine is 19 years old and is not perfect. There is some places in the paint around the front door handles that need to be sanded, treated properly and match paint. Will be an easy match since limo was just painted last August. New paint (painted in Aug of 09) paint is beautiful but a couple of small areas were not properly sanded and prepared. A couple little bubbles coming up from under the paint, easy fix and have paint matched. Rear AC thermostat needs replacing. Front AC is ice cold and this limo has a new AC system. A couple of the switches in the rear arent working, like the privacy divider down button wont work, works up front not in the rear. One of the over shoulder reading lights stopped working. Could be a bulb or connection, otherwise these overshoulder lights are readily available and inexpensive to replace. I have discribed this vehicle to the best of my ability.
