For sale Porsche 944 Black 1985 Model. This car is a project car that got to work with my teenager.......but my ex does not allow him to have.....Now needs a new owner that would like to put the time and love in restoring back to its potential. The car mechanically is in very good shape. The engine shows 72,000 miles and change. I do not know if the odometer has been rolled over already or not. It has been stored for two years. It needs a new battery for sure. Car starts and moves without problems once the battery is jumped. Clutch and transmission seem fine. The interior needs the most love. New seats for sure. The car has been stored for the last two years. I need the space on the warehouse and someone that can come and pick it up soon. The car is sold without reserve. You should be able to pick it up within three days of closing the auction. We never put the title on our name. I will provide a bill of sale so you can go to the Secretary of the State and get a clear title. I will show the car and its documents if you contact me. Car is sold as is. On Oct-04-10 at 19:33:36 PDT, seller added the following information:Update on the car Yesterday a local contact came to review the car. Two tires were inflated. This evening one was holding, the other one is low. It is not completely flat, but I would not recommend to drive the car like that. The tire must be repaired. The battery was recharged. This is not the original battery. The car started several times and was running for about 20 minutes. However, every time we dropped the hood, the car would stall. Finally, we realized that the battery was too big and hit the hood, thus grounding the car. The car was jumped again and then would not start. This afternoon a mechanic change the battery on the car for one more suitable to this model, but the car would not start. After review, the fuel pump was working but the fuel relay was not. The fuel relay is out now. It needs a new one. I do not promise that the fuel relay issue will be corrected before auction ends nor that I will correct it. Car is sold as is. For all of those that ask me if this car can be driven 200 or 500 miles away, please read the explanation on this car. This is a project car that has been stored for almost two years. It should be taken into consideration when bidding. Car is sold as is.
