1971 FORD RANCHERO GT Here is a really nice Ranchero GT. It is a California car that still has black license plates. The car also has all its original trim, mouldings and badges. It has a stock 302 V8 and automatic transmission and dual exhaust. This is a rare factory bucket seat center console car, I haven't seen any other Rancheros with this set up. The car even has its rare and original factory hubcaps that look like alloy wheels. This car has had the same owner for the last 33 years. The Ranchero fires right up and shifts and brakes well. The car looks very nice inside and out, just normal wear and a few small parking lot dings, the paint is not original but looks really nice. Even the radio is original but I can't get any sound out of it. The car is overall totally solid, the only noticeable rust is where water has collected over the years in the bed, also on the floor behind the driver seat are some rust pinholes and one about the size of a quarter. The speedo and odo work, so does the horn, wipers and the temperature gauge. The gas gauge and a/c-heater need work. Also, the left turn signal works but the right does not. With a little TLC this will be a really great car. Due to the age of the previous owner, the car had not been driven for the past few years. The two rear tires will need to be replaced, and the steering is slack, jumps around over bumps. Please keep this in mind if you have ambitions of driving the car home over a long distance. NOTE: A.
