1970 FIAT 850 SPORT Up for auction is a rare 1970 Fiat 850 Sport. Powered by a 4 cylinder engine and manual 4 speed transmission. Very hard to find in this condition. This fiat is a very sharp orange/red in color with black vinyl seats in excellent condition. The odometer reads 70,970 miles. Doors shut like they should, windows roll up and down easily. Small rust bubbles noted in some spots, but the overall appearance of the body is excellent. The top will either need repair or replacement. The underside of the Fiat is excellent! Tires are very good. It has been repainted and appears to be a quality paint job. The engine turns over, but will not start. Has weak spark, battery is dead. Will turn over when jumped. I could hear compression when engine turned over by hand. Could just be an electrical issue. I spent very little time trying to start it. Oil level and radiator fluid levels are good. Transmission seems to shift smoothly in all gears. Brakes work good. Emergency brake works. I did not test the electrical aside from jumping the engine. No other known issues. I really don't have much history on this 850 Sport. The clear title has been signed off and given to the landlord for past due rent. The landlord states the tennant used to drive it regularly. If you know Fiats, or like Italian sports cars, this may be the car for you. Will need to be trailered or towed. WHERE'S ELKHORN WISCONSIN?
