First This: During the previous auction I've been contacted by a very nice Man who knows Corvairs inside out, and he explained to me that running an acution for a Corvair attracts a very unique group of individuals. A group that will pay a very specific price, with or without a "reserve" auction. That price is excactly what the car is worth. So I'll take your advise, Jeff, and run a "no-reserve" open auction in hope that I won't have to chew on my finger nails, waiting for last minute snipers... 1963 Corvair Monza Convertible Spyder Turbo Manual Transmission I've owned this car for a short period of time and will do the best answering any questions although my knowledge about it is very limited. According to CA Deprtment of Motor Vehicle the mileage, as documented on Aug/28/2009 was actual mileage of 2,036 (see pic of Title) but I have no way to confirm that. The original California black plates tags expired in June/1990 (as you can see in the pic) and currently it is registered as a Non-Operational vehicle. ("Non-op"). This car was sitting in a garage for many years. Comes with a CA Clear Title. Starts, runs and drives excellent. Lights/horn/other have been tested and found to be all in working order. Battery is fresh, Engine Oil & Filter just replaced, new contact points & ignition condenser installed. No known problems. Tires are near new, all glass is good. The Original Radio is included. a pic of the radio can be sent to anyone interested. I have some under-carriage pictures I can also send. Just ask. Will be sold AS IS.
