I bought this cycle direct out of the factory in Munich, Germany in l969 (but it is a US model and the odometer is in miles). I toured around Europe for the summer then shipped it home to the States. Soon thereafter I sold the bike to a friend to help pay for my schooling. Then about ten years later, I bought the bike back and have owned it ever since. The cycle runs good and has good power. Lately the idle has gotten a bit uneven, but out on the road, it runs great. The motor and power train are original, having never been opened. It does not use oil. The paint is original. There are a few dings on it. There are two small dents in the gas tank (received during shipping from Europe). The mufflers are original, however the back part of them started to rust through and so several years ago I cut off the back part. This did not change the sound of the engine.
