Vehicle Detail
**** 2000 Chevy Pickup Super well maintained 1 Ton **** I purchased this pickup about a little over a year ago to use as my work truck as a Insurance Adjuster. But as luck would have it, last year there were no Hurricanes that made landfall so not much work. But as luck would have it, I found regular employment and don't need the truck any longer. The truck is in wonderful shape, it has exceptionally low miles all the maintenance items are done and have been kept up (as can be seen in a carfax) and I have done several upgrades on the truck. It has a brand new Sony CD/MP3 player with new speakers, full sized spare with tire (less than 100 miles on spare), all the tires on the truck are good with plenty of tread life. The box of the truck was painted Rustolem white when I purchased the truck and a new rubber bed-liner was sprayed on the top of the truck and all the work surfaces. I chose to have the bed painted with Rustolem because it is easy to paint match if scratches happen and is available at any Home Depot. The paint is very rugged and looks as good as the day it was sprayed. The truck also has a +/-3500 watt generator (I don't remember the exact specs) in place of the A/C compressor. It is currently not wired up, but all the wiring is included. The A/C bracket and idler pulley is still in place and could be retrofit back to A/C without much trouble. All the outside doors are in good working condition and have rubber seals. I have all the complete jack assembly, spare hub caps and all the storage compartments are complete and working. I have the Oxygen/Acetylene tank mounts in the truck but not bolted down. Included with the truck but not on it is a lockable ladder rack with "convince" one man loading. (makes it much easier to load a 32' ladder by yourself) The entire bed locks from two pad lockable points on the back of the truck. Nearly impossible to get into without a cutting torch. While it is dusty from sitting in my driveway for the better part of the last year, it is a very clean truck. The transmission is in great shape with no signs of hard shifting or issues at all. Everything is very smooth. Engine runs great no issues at all. Again, I would drive this truck anywhere in the country. This is a 1 ton truck and has the heavy duty brakes and towing capacity needed for big loads. It is a no-frills solid work truck with a lot of life left in it. I was very careful when selecting a truck for my own use as I was intending to go into disaster areas and needed a reliable transport to get me around. I am happy to answer any questions or post up more photos if you need them. Feel free to contact me if you want any more photos or have any questions. The truck is available for inspection and test drive locally. Thanks! Truck is in keller,tx. near Cabella's The tags and inspection are both out as of last month I have only driven this truck 1,000 miles in the last year, and now it is time to let her go she is in very good condition for her age and only having 66,500 miles it is not even broke in yet...
