Vehicle Detail
1993 Suzuki GSX 1100G Motorcycle Up for sale is a GSX 1100G Motorcycle. It was running strong at 48,000 Miles, but it had carburetor issues, so I replaced the carburetors with a new stack of Bandit 1200 carbs. The Bandit 1200 carbs fit the engine, but the new carbs need longer throttle cables to work. I am moving out of state so I need to sell this bike quickly. The Good... Strong 1127cc Engine, No Leaks Very Tight, Oil Changed every 2500 Miles... New Stack of Carbs with 0 miles (The Original Carbs also come with the bike too) Low Maintance Shaft Drive Cooled by a Massive Oil Radiator, No Water cooling system to complicate things and add weight. Lots of Horse Power, Very Fast (110 HP, Buries the 175 MPH Speedometer Needle) Very Comfortable Bike to Ride. Longer Rake to the front fork dampens the bumps, the seat offers many different riding positions. I have made over 1000 comfortable miles in a day on this bike. This bike handles very well. The bike has a good low center of gravity, and nice foot pegs just where they should be. Even full on crotch rockets like the CBR 900 have a difficult time hanging with the GSX 1100G through the curves. This bike is essentially bullet proof. This bike is known for its simple, elegant and strong design. No Cheese factor here. Mainly Highway Miles, This bike has seen Northern Alaska, Cabo San Lucas Mexico, and every National Park in the Western United States The Bad... The seat needs to be recovered. There are many rips and tears in the black vinyl When testing the throttle with the new carbs, I broke the plastic rotating piece in the handle bars that the throttle cables sit in. This part and any part for this bike is available through bikebandit.com There is a quarter sized hole in the red brake light plastic cover. The new carb installation needs to be completed. The fuel lines need to be connected, and new throttle cables need to be installed. The shaft drive sounds good and makes no noise, but it probably should be lubed before this bike is ridden regularly. As you can see in the photos the case savers have been used a few times. There is a dent-scratch on the tank (also seen in the photos), I covered the dent with touch up paint back when it happened to make it less noticeable. I accept credit card payments through PayPal. I will need to cash any check before giving up the title. Alpine is a town with a BNSF Rail Road Stop, and there is a shipping company out here called Old Dominion.
