Up for bid is a rare 1988 Pontiac Trans Am GTA Notchback. It's one of 718 produced in 1988. It was a one year only production. The car is white with tan leather. It has the rare Digital gauge display. It has the 350 Tuned Port Injected engine with a automatic (700R4) transmission. The car runs and drives fine and can be driven home. The tires are so so but work to be driven home. BODY: The body has rust on the fenders, doors and quarters. Floors look solid along with the rest of the car. If you don't come look at the car in person please do not complain about the car once you get it. It has rust all over and needs to be repaired/replaced...you choice. Engine & Transmission.: The GTA runs and drives fine and can be driven home. It's a very good running car. Good oil pressure. AC: The AC blows but it's not cold at all, it needs to be re-charged at the least. It's all there though. The stock AC/Delco AM-FM cass player is missing, wires are there. The steering wheel has the radio controls, the top of the wheel has a small tear in leather. It still has all (4) GTA 16' diamond spoke wheels. The tires are so so (old) but hold air and work. This is a original Notchback with the GM VIN decal still on hatch. The hatch shocks still work. The hood shocks do not. The windows both go up and down. The locks all work. The rear hatch motor works. Does not seem to leak anything. Please come and look at car and test drive it if you can. Very original car down to the GM floormats (driver side has hole in it). Rotors & pads 25 SEP 2010 The price increase reflects the addition of the correct AM-FM cass with EQ that has been tested, lights tested and cass player working. Also has port added for IPOD interface. Also added are (4) correct black center caps with WS6 emblems and factory locking lugs (4) with (20) black lug nut covers. The power antenna was stuck in the up postition, that has been changed with a original equipment not an aftermarket power antenna. It also has the aluminum spare with changing instructions on plastic trim panel and new in the bag is a tire changing kit specifically for the notchback cars. It's a factory item new in bag. It's made of material the same as t top bag. In all my years i've never seen one of these. The spare tire kit goes with the car and is not for sale seperately.
