1923 FORD MODEL T TOURING ROADSTER CONVERTIBLE This is a good running all original Low mileage 1923 Model T Touring Roadster. This car was in climate controlled long term storage and as you can see by the pictures the car is in very nice shape. The paint has numerous chips and scratches as well as some wear on driver side doors and will need to be redone for the perfectionist, but is presentable as is. The original wooden spokes are made out of ash, they are straight, sturdy, solid and in beautiful shape. The original four cylinder motor runs out like a sewing machine and clutch shifts real nice. The car has new spark plugs and a new battery, the oil was changed in July of 2010. The car has the original tool chest attached to running board, this contains the original jack as well as some original tools. The interior has a few tears on drivers side seams, but is kept really good and is serviceable as is. Backseat has no rips and is kept real nice. All five tires are kept nice and are serviceable as is. The car has original hand crank (wow!) also beleive it or not this car comes with the original owners manual, that's right I said original. Original gas lanters, can you beleive that they used Kerosine to light the lanterns? Car runs and drives and can be taken to shows as is, but does leak a little oil as well as some antifreeze which is very common with these cars, car also has original key and spare key. Througout the years, there has been quite some work done to the vehicle including a replaced head gasket (fan belt, radiator, bushings, gas tank, front axle, front spring and as mentioned above a new six volt battery.) The top has all it's bows and does go up and down manually, it looks good in the pictures but is worn and will need to be replaced if car is not garaged. There is no rust on the frame, running boards, floor boards and body and does not appear to have had any rust ever, which I find pretty amazing for a 90 year old vehicle.
