Up for auction is a 1999 Subaru Legacy, right-hand drive station wagon--perfect for mail delivery, paper routes, or anyone else who wants/needs a right-hand drive vehicle! This is the latest model right-hand drive Subaru you'll find--Subaru stopped selling them in the U.S. after the 1999 models. I bought this to use for my own back-up mail vehicle and started working on getting it repaired. However, my 6'3" frame just doesn't fit well in these cars, and I finally talked the wife into investing in a brand new Jeep. As such, I no longer need this for a back-up since I have the other mail car I was using that will still be a serviceable back-up. Since I won't be using it myself, I don't feel the need to finish the remaining repairs, but they are fairly minor compared to the major repairs that I had done on it. This car is definitely one of those good news/bad news scenarios. I'll start with the good news: I recently invested $2000 in a newly rebuilt motor for the car comes with a Subaru factory-installed cd player I recently installed many other new parts including coil, spark plugs, air filter, wires, fuel filter, etc. body of car is in better shape than most right-hand drive Subarus you see spare tire is a "real" tire--not a doughnut jack is included Now for the bad news: the a/c worked fine but apparently leaked out while it sat waiting for repairs all tires are getting bald fuel pump went out last week but newly rebuilt engine ran beautifully before that brakes need to be bled apparently, when the guy who rebuilt the engine put it back in, something didn't get hooked back up right and it came back to me with a couple of problems it didn't have when I sent it to him: the transmission skips second gear and the power windows no longer go up and down door moldings coming undone on a couple of doors front windshield cracked but may be covered by your insurance some of the bulbs are burnt out has somewhat of a mildewy smell from sitting while being repaired interior is dusty The buyer will, of course, need to arrange for shipping. Having bought quite a few vehicle off eBay for myself and friends and family, I recommend A Ace Automobile for automotive shipping, but I will work with you and/or the shipping company of your choice to arrange pick-up of the vehicle.
