1974 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible w/Sidepipes; Factory 4-Speed; NO RESERVE One of the True Muscle Cars from the '70's...This beautiful 1974 C3 Stingray Convertible is absolutely a blast to drive. The L48, 350ci engine delivers the horsepower with a pure sound from the side pipes that is recognizable by any Corvette enthusiast. Don't miss this classic C3 Collector car (only 4,629 originally sold) being offered this week only at NO RESERVE. One of the last C3 convertibles built. The exterior is in great condition with no apologies except that the headlights only go down manually. The Mille Miglia Red Clearcoat finish is bright and gleams; there are only a few minor scratches that are hardly noticeable, which is amazing for a car this age. The leather saddle interior is good condition overall with no rips or tears on the seats, only minor wear from normal use but generally look great. The trim is showing its age and wear however (pictured) and the after-market radio is a bit of a joke. The real music comes from the side pipes. The black vinyl convertible top is a replacement with no tears or cracks and has hardly been used. The engine sounds absolutely amazing! It starts immediately with no smoke or odd noises and is extremely responsive. The power brakes are firm and tight and the factory 4-speed, wide-ratio transmission smoothly slides into gear just as you would expect. The clutch has no slippage and is easy to operate. The Goodrich tires have 60% tread remaining and are mounted on Cragar chrome wheels. This baby runs and drives great! It's perfect for the collector or for a fun driver. The five-digit odometer is in the 20's but we are unsure of the actual mileage so we are selling it "true mileage unknown." We sell these vehicles with NO RESERVE and let the market dictate the true value. And if the vehicle is not exactly how we described it, you have no obligation to purchase it.
