Up for Auction is my wife's 2002 Mini Cooper. She has owned the Mini (Emma) since 2006 when she purchased it from the first owner at 42k. During that time "Emma" has been maintained at Braman Mini in Miami and Hunt's Auto Repair in Fort Myers. The interior is in great condition with no rips or tears except for a cracked shift knob bezel, and the exterior is very clean with no dents except for some rock marks from highway travel. The mini has never been in an accident. We have a stack of receipts to show that all routine maintenance has been done properly. In the last three years we have re-done the brakes with new rotors and pads, replaced the clutch and associated bearings, and replaced the radiator and auxiliary fan due to a pin-hole leak in the former. All maintenance and repairs were done by specialists using OEM or OE parts. Unfortunately, this summer the AC compressor failed and my wife decided it was time for a convertible! The AC is not functional at this time, and will likely require a new compressor. The only other issue is with the driver's side window regulator-there is a grinding noise at the last 1" when you roll the window down; its been there since she purchased it and hasn't changed. This has been a great car for my wife, and we're sad to see it go. I would not hesitate to drive it across the country tomorrow, and its a lot of fun to drive; even getting about 35mpg on the highway. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to e-mail me.
