Vehicle Detail
I’ve owned this truck for the last 2 years and put lots of TLC into it. It is a strong running beautiful truck that starts every time, can run 70+ mph on the highway, and gets compliments everywhere it goes. If I were to describe the truck in one phrase it would be “stunning daily driver.” It is not in show car condition, but if you wanted to build a show car, this Bronco would be an excellent choice. A summary of the truck is below: • Strong 302 V8 I would confidently drive this truck 1,000 miles across the country. • The odometer reads 83k. The drive train is super tight and the power steering is wonderful. The motor was redone at 71k miles. • The door jams and post, rockers, inner fenders, firewall, floor pans and tub are all in great shape. • About a year ago, the carburetor went bad, so I installed a brand new Ford OEM carburetor. It has less than 5k miles on it. Once the truck is warms up, it runs as smoothly as a new car and is extremely quiet. • I’ve also installed a new power steering pump, replaced the back brakes, completely rebuilt the front brakes and installed a new muffler. • Shortly after purchasing the car, I had the body sanded to remove any rust that might be developing, covered it with a heavy rust preventative primer and had it painted Ford Wimbledon White. Wimbledon White is a cream color that was one of the original color options, and looks awesome with the black wheel well flares and black Ford decals. I painted the dash to match and put in a new dash pad. • The floorboards and truck bed are solid, without any corrosion problems. I also sanded the interior floors and put a heavy black Rhino Liner paint treatment on the floors of the inside of the truck. They look fantastic. • The cream-colored vinyl/leatherette seats are the original seats and were restored prior to my purchasing the truck. They look fantastic. I installed new seat belts and a really cool wood box as a center console shortly after purchasing the truck. • I also have the original back seat, which will be included in the sale. It is in good condition but still has the original vinyl on them and I would recommend re-covering it if you want to use it - I prefer the truck without it installed so there is more room in the back. • The Bronco also has a Dual brand CD stereo with remote control, i-Pod sync and Blutooth sync for hands-free phone use. • The Bronco has a mild 3 ½” lift and rides great. The 33x12.50 Cooper MT's have at least 75% tread left and the chrome rims are almost new. Call 832-407-0593 with any questions.
