This Skylark was in poor condition when I bought this car in Aug. of 2005. It had 64,693 miles on the odemeter at the time. I spent the next 2 years restoring it from engine to trunk. It is not a frame off restoration, but as you will see, I've completly gone through the car. The 1st thing I tackled was rust - the entire trunk foor, 3 floor pans and both quarter panels were cut out and replaced. It originally came from the the factory with a Buick 300 motor and 2 speed tranny. It now has a Buick 350 motor and a Turbo 400 tranny, both rebuilt with less than 1400 miles on them. As a matter of fact, all the following items have been replaced and have less than 1400 miles on them - Engine wiring harness, Gas tank, Radiator, Edelbrock carb, 4 BR intake Manifold, Front disc brakes conversion kit, Tires, Rubber molding on all doors and windows and the Convertible top (works great). Both bumpers have been straightened and re-chromed. I have replaced the carpet and the factory buckets seat covers, door panels, arm rests, etc. all are new but match the original interior when new. All electrical items work except the Radio, which is AM only (original) and not hooked up. I have all documentation for all work done to this car along with some more pictures when it was being restored. It was completely stripped down and block sanded and painted a Beautiful Blue Closonne Metallic. It runs great, is a lot of fun and I'll gaurantee you won't be disappointed.
