Up for auction is a clean used 1996 Mercedes Benz S320 Long Wheel Base. I inherited this car from my father who had owned it for the past eight years. In those eight years the car has only had about 25,000 miles put on it. Unfortunately I was not able to obtain service records with the car when I took possesion of it. It does have the factory service sticker in the driver door jamb that a Mercedes Benz dealer would apply. The mileage on that sticker reads 80,000. It also has records in the owners manual from the owner before my father when the car was in Georgia, which is where I believe it was bought brand new. I know the car passed Florida inspection with no issues. It had four brand new Firestone Champion HR tires installed and was also aligned only about a month or so ago, I have the receipts for the work done. The car runs and drives with no issue. As with any car of this age and mileage there are a few things to consider. The two rear windows have an issue. They do move but only partially. I believe the window regulators need to be replaced as the motors seem to work just fine. I also can't seem to get the FM radio to work. The cassette and weather band work on the radio as does the power antenna, but no FM band. Everything else seems to work just fine on the car and the A/C blows cold. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. In regards to the "accident" thats listed on the vehicle report. A US Postal Service vehicle backed into the car, causing no damage but a police report was filed. There was a minor scuff of white paint on the corner of the bumper that was buffed out. Please keep in mind that this is not a new vehicle and that it is sold as-is, where-is with no warrantees implied, stated, or otherwise intended. You are bidding to purchase this vehicle, not to come and look at it after the auction has ended. I encourage bidders to come and see the car if possible. You are welcome to have the car inspected at your expense prior to the conclusion of the auction. Remember, my descriptions are based on my knowledge of the car. I cannot say that it is without flaws. Any used vehicle will have flaws. A non-refundable deposit of $1000 must be sent by paypal or cashier's check by FedEx or UPS within 48 hours of the conclusion of the auction. The balance must be paid within seven days of the end of the auction or upon pick-up of the car, whichever is earlier. The balance of the purchase price may NOT be made by Paypal. I will accept cash, bank wire transfer, or cashier's check only, cash is preferred. Purchaser is responsible for pick-up or all costs related to the shipping of the car.
