This Jeep is being relisted because of a problem found by auto check, however on the title it does state that it is "original" and I did take the title down to the Illinois Secretary of state's office and they tell me there is no problems with this title. Please check for yourself, all you have to do is show them my VIN. # and they can tell you if it has been rebuilt. Thank you for looking, and I am sorry for any confusion.Selling this beautiful 1985 CJ-7, I have own for over 2 years. It is very dependable and my daily driver in the summer. It had a few small rust spots on it when I bought it and it had only a dried out soft top. I stripped the tub out completly and repaired what little rust on the tub there was.(welding in new metal of course) Under the roll-bar mounts, driver side rocker and a small area on drivers floor. There was no rust found on rear of tub or around wheels. The doors I purchased on ebay from a 89-YJ and they are completly rust-free, I didn,t even have to paint them (already red and rust-free). I also removed cleaned and inspected heater box, it,s all good and in working condition. If you pull to hard on heater control knobs they will come off, but all controls do function . I added lots of new parts: sun visors, stainless mirrors, new carpet (full), new clutch-master cyl., new fuel tank, brake lines, head lights, starter, spare tire cover, custom made rear bumper with reese- hitch, 4 new speakers. This Jeep runs and drives great, would not be afraid to drive anywhere. Please ask any questions. I am not a professional body and paint guy, I did all work my self, I am good at welding and so so on paint. It has base coat and clear coat paint, I had a few runs in the clear, sanded and buffed them out the best i could. It's not a show winner, but still looks real good. This Jeep will bring many years of enjoyment to the lucky winner ! 4cl. 2.5 engine 4-speed manual trans,4-wheel drive, manual brakes and manual steering . Great on gas !
