1974 Honda CB

This bike has been relisted due to a non paying winning bidder.For auction I have one {1} 1974 Honda CB200E,VIN#CB2001001628.Only 1,762 original miles.Bike has been in storage since 1975.Fresh oil change,spark plugs.Gas tank flushed.Fuel tap/filter assembly has just been rebuilt with original Honda parts.Carbs were just done with Keyster kits.New fuel lines.New battery.Points were checked,along with ignition timing.Carbs adjusted,balanced.Starts right up,idles well,performs well.Clutch,shifting,brakes,etc.are all excellent as to be expected with only 1,762 miles.Starting and charging systems function..Headlight{hi-lo beam},taillight,brakelights,instruments,horn, work fine.Turn signals do not function,probably needs a flasher relay.Has both original tires,dry cracked,rear has air leak,Both should be replaced before riding.Tank,frame,most of the chrome trim,mufflers,fenders,wheels,etc. all had surface rust on them from storage.I have scrubbed off most of it,there is some pitting still present.Paint on tank has a few scratches and some surface rust in places.Both side covers are in fair condition,the left side has some streaking and is missing the CB200 emblem.Paint is flaking on both engine side covers Seat has a tear in center of cover.Respectable condition for 36 years old,I am just pointing out the imperfections.Includes an original Honda factory service manual.
