Vehicle Detail
1995 Nissan Pickup with Contractor Truck Cap Thanks for looking at our listing. I'll start with what's wrong with the truck, then what's right with it. I'm selling this for parts or repair. This would be a good buy for someone who it mechanically inclined. I bought this truck from a latino guy in Goshen, IN. It was a salvage title because it had front end damage from a wreck. He rebuilt the truck and I still have the picture from him working on it that he gave to when I bought it. The mileage on the title is 82,235. It's ACTUAL. I put 83,198 miles on it. These were mostly highway miles because I used it for installation of satellite TV and most people that have it, live in the country. So here is the list of what's needs attention on the truck. The reverse is out in the truck. You can drive forward all day long but I had to us my foot like the Flintstones if I wanted to back up. It has rust in various areas on the panels. It's very common with Nissans of this year. The widnshield gasket may need replaced because it's coming loose. The emergency brake cable is broken. The back left tire has rubbing. It sounds like it's in the brake drum. Truck bed gate is rusting out. You can open and close it but it probably needs replaced if you're going to use it all the time. The air conditioner doesn't work. It did for years when I drove it but quit around 2008. The hose needs a new coupler or replaced. I can show the buyer the exact location because I located the spot when I went to recharge the AC. Headliner is falling down. I had the frame of the vehicle rewelded to fix the rust in the frame. These trucks are popular among peoples that want something that they can repair and will run for a very long time. This engine probably has another 100,000+ miles that it can still go. I'm including the truck cap with it. I'm the original owner of it. It has a tool bin on the left side. I paid around $1200 just for the cap when I first bought it new. It has signs of wear and there is rust spots around the handles only. The handles are steel but the cap is made from aliminum so no rust. but it's still in good shape. Again, it runs and you can drive it. I'm selling it for parts or for repair. I could junk it and get $400 dollars for the metal but I'd rather not waste something that can be used for better purpose. Anyone who it interested in buying it and wants to check it out before the auction closes it welcome to. Just message me and we'll go from there.
