Here up for bid is a 1989 VW JETTA GL with only 71516 miles. This has the 1.8L 4 cyl gasoline engine with an automatic trans. Options: anti theft system, Ice cold ac, Rear def, Cruise control, Power steering, Power breaks. am/fm/ casette stereo with surround sound. Delay wipers. Work done 8 of 2010. All new breaks. All new tires with a 4 wheel thrust alighnment. Cat back exhaust system with lifetime midas mufflers. oil changed, collant flushed, ac recharged. Breaks Front 9/32 Rear 9/32 Tires ALL 4 9/32nds new!!! Work done in winter of 2009. new battery, silverstar ultra headlights, wipers. This car was owned by a non smoker with no pets. he was 89 years old and took very good care of the car. it was garage kept. oil was changed every 3000 miles with valvoline. I had this car gone over in PA and was told it would pass PA state inspection and emissions with flying colors. I had anything that needed fixed or looked like it was going to need fixed soon replaced. this car is ready to go and will make someone a very good car. The car runs great. The transmission shifts smooth. Ac blows ice cold. Everything works. This car is very good on gas at over 30mpg. I got to see the underside of this car up on a car lift. it is rust free and solid. the paint is in very good condition. the car is gold on the outside and brown with tan on the inside. the int is in very good condition. after driving this and seeing it on a rack i see no major issues at with this car. if you have any questions plase ask.
