EXTREMELY RARE honda s500. This car is number 491 of the first car honda put into production. There are very few left today.It is nearly complete, missing the fender moulding and front mirrors, which can be found without too much trouble as they were used on the S600 and S800. This is a matching numbers car. This car has never been restored. Original.The car has not been run since 1969 and been in storage all that time. There is very little rust on the car. No Rust throughHaving set for 41 years has frozen the engine, I believe no.3 piston is stuck. I looked with a bore scope and that cylinder has light rust on it. For those not familiar with this car it has an amazing engine. It has a dual overhead cam hemi head type engine w/4 carbs. The redline is an incredible 9500 RPM and is said to rev the entire 11,000 RPMS which is the tach limit.It also features a full roller bearing crankshaft. I am not a dealer just a private person who likes unusual cars. I have too many projects and not enough time. Like I said there are very few of these and most reside in museums. Jay Leno has a S600 , The second model Honda built, but this car is much much rarer. I am going to put a link to his car so you get a better idea. I installed a battery and the lights, gauges, wiper etc, work fineThis car will have to fully paid before it leaves me. This car has incredible investment value.
