Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a 1939 Ford Pickup truck that I bought some time ago with the intentions of finishing. This is the very rare big pickup and I don’t know much more about the big pickup than that. It’s about 95% restored or more. It’s a very nice job and has been a thorough frame off restoration start to present. I have non-digital pictures of the bare frame and running gear being restored. I’m selling the truck because I have lost interest in it and would like to fund another project. This is the honest truth because I have a 46 Hudson truck, a 28 model A roadster pickup and a B-model Mack, not sure what I needed a fourth truck for. I am really close to having this truck done but it’s not running yet, It’s very close though. I bought a coil and the fuel lines for it the other day, it might even be running by the time the auction is over. The engine is rebuilt and you can take out the spark plugs and see the shiny new pistons and valves. The motor is proprerly painted but it's hard to tell from the pictures due to some dust on the motor. The entire brake system is new and redone from the master to the wheels. Tires are new and never used still having the fuzzies on them. All new wiring harness, lights and wood in bed. Front end totally rebuilt, king pins, bushings, linkage ect. Really almost everything is new or redone on this old girl. All the glass is good with no fogging or cracks. The worst thing on the whole truck is the grill chrome as it is nicked up and should be replaced to be at the level of the rest of the truck. The front bumper is good driver quality and not show worthy. In the right hands this truck could be a good show truck or be taken to an auction and receive top dollar. I do not have a title for this truck and it is sold with a bill of sale only. However, I do know some easy ways to get titles for antique vehicles and in most states it’s not that difficult. I am willing to work with you as needed. There are also title companies that can get you new titles for antiques. If you have any questions or would like to come out and see the truck in person feel free to ask. I can deliver the truck for a fee but get a quote first as many of the haulers can beat my price anyway. The truck won’t leave my property until it’s fully paid for and funds are clear. No trigger happy bidders please. Happy bidding! Thought I had a buyer for this truck but lost contact with them so I'm relisting again. I have a new title comming from Broadway title so the truck will now sell with clear title!
