Vehicle Detail
Up for bids is my 1996 Audi A4 2.8 Quattro. It has a manual 5-speed transmission. Nice V6 engine with the super handling of the Quattro system. This is the first year the A4 was offered, and it has the special Audi badge on the front fenders to show it! The mileage is 153065. I am only the second owner, bought it after the original couple bought it in Boston and owned it for the first 10 years. I bought it the summer of '07 and have put very few miles on it since. It has a clean CarFax history. Between the look on the inside and out, it still looks new. I received compliments all the time on how nice and clean it looks. And it still looks like what you see on the roads today even though it has some age on it. I have a clean Georgia title in hand for the car. I also have the original stock car and stereo manuals. THE GOOD *Leather on the inside, a navy blueish color *A power sunroof *Power locks and windows *One touch window rolldown *Cruise control *A HUGE trunk *Headlight washers *Fog lights *Original car and stereo manuals/booklets *Clean title in hand *Clean CarFax report *A great sound system! I put a Sony Drive-S CD system in it, so it's satellite radio ready and also has aux and usb inputs on the face. It really sounds great! *Nice 16" wheels on it, and great Potenza G009 tires on them with plenty of good tread and life left. THE BAD *The hood and back bumper are becoming ozidized from 14 years of sunlight. I've kept it inside my garage for my 3 years here in Vegas, but the damage is there...I tried to get a good shot of it in the pictures *The windshield has a crack in it, it's low and on the passenger side *There's also a few scratches on the back bumper from an errant reverse one day *A few dings on both sides from idiots throwing their doors open into mine *The driver's leather seat also has some wear on it from 14 years of butts The 2 biggest problems: *There is a coolant leak somewhere. It's not in the coolant reservoir because I've had that replaced. It doesn't look like it's coming from the radiator either, it appears to be one of the connecting tubes. *There is a lower engine rattle/knock. I'm not gonna lie, it doesn't sound that great. And I would advise the buyer to tow it home and then fix it. I don't know a whole lot about cars, and I have neither the time nor the money to see about fixing it. It's a shame too because I love this car! I've had so many fun drives in it. It really does handle like a dream! I am about to move at the end of the month and need to have the car sold by then. I have it priced low because of the few problems and so I can move it ASAP. If you are the buyer, you MUST make payment within 7 days of auction end, and MUST be picked up by the 28th of September. Payment will be either PayPal or you can pay in person with cash or a cashiers check upon pickup. You may put a hold deposit via PayPal before picking it up and finishing the payment in person if you choose. Just get ahold of me if you wish to do this. Due to buyer problems in the recent past you must have a feedback score of 10 or more in order to bid. I'm sorry to all the new members but I've had too many flakes as of late. If you have any questions or want any additional pictures feel free to message me. Thanks for looking!
