1989 Honda Accord LX-i Two keyless remotes with remote start NO RESERVE AUCTION VIN# JHMCA5649KC074373 We purchased this gorgeous 1989 Honda Accord a year ago from an elderly couple in Texas as an extra car after gas prices reached $5.00 a gallon and its proved out to be a wonderful car. The gentleman we bought it from purchased it for his wife to drive around town as he purchased it from the original owners who were also an elderly couple. This car has been adult owned since new and we are now the third owners. This Accord is top of line in that its an LXi model which if fuel injected , five speed automatic transmission, and the lowest drag made of any car produced so the gas mileage is high. 28 to 30 MPG in town and 34 MPG on the highway depending on how its driven. At a steady 60 MPH it will do better even to 36 MPG. The previous owner did new front axles, and a new radiator and cooling system with new belts and hoses, new Goodyear tires, and a new battery. We've driven it 12,000 miles and decided to keep it forever and so we did a new timing belt, new front rotors and brake pads, along with front ball joints that were getting a little loose. In other words this Accord has had all the things done that use and age affects to make it like new. We also reupholstered the front drivers seat as it had a seam that was working loose. The carpet and floor mats are all original as is the balance of the upholstery and is like new as you can see in the photo's. It has some minor door dings but nothing I felt needed to be addressed as the paint is in great shape. I also added a remote start with keyless entry and includes two keys and two remotes. Every option that Honda offered is on this Accord, and I'm a collector and restorer even though we're retired so take meticulous care of our cars. We needed a van to help with elderly mothers and moving their things back and forth at ages 93 and 100 years old and I don't want this Honda to sit outside so it needs a new owner that can use it and keep it up. Everything works as it should and like new condition. If taken care of the new owner can expect to get years of service as if it were a new car. Throw away your blue book on price as there isn't another one out in this condition.
