Vehicle Detail
I currently have (4) road bikes and have to thin the herd. I'm selling a gorgeous 1988 Honda NT 650 (Hawk GT). Anyone reading this won't need me to tell you about this bike, and how far ahead of its time they were. Many a club racer has made one into a great track bike. They handle great and this one sounds awesome. Cosmetically, its nearly perfect with only a couple of touched-up spots (which won't show up in a photo). The bike has a few modifications: SuperTrap exhaust with the headers wrapped (look great), clutch & shifter kit to make it shift better, a small bikini fairing that doesn't stick out like a sore thumb, but actually works well deflecting wind over your helmet at Interstate speeds. It has a Corbin Seat (in perfect condition) which makes it easy for shorter guys/ladies to put their feet flat on the ground. It also has an aftermarket air-intake which gives it a neat "bark" when you bleep the throttle. I'm at 6,100 feet and the bike doesn't have a hiccup when accelerating through the power-band. Its happy cruising on the interstate at 85 or commuting in town. These bikes are bullet-proof and this one is no exception. It has been adult owned and properly maintained. The previous owner ran Mobil 1 synthetic in it and that's what I have it now. The bike needs nothing, starts, runs, shifts, brakes perfectly. I encourage anyone interested to call me at (719) 210-9050 up to 10 pm Mountain Standard Time. I have used the Federal Companies to ship my bikes the past (5) years and they do a great job. They will pick up at either a business or residence with a lift-gate truck and strap the bike to a pallet for shipping with Allied Van Lines. I will work with other shippers and can bring the bike to my office if that gets you a cheaper rate. Anyone with a zero or negative feedback, please contact me prior to bidding. I am going with a "starting" price so there won't be a hidden reserve. Bid with confidence, there will not be any disappointments with this bike. Thanks for looking...Bob.
