Vehicle Detail
Trying this again.... OK, last week when I tried to list this vehicle Ebay pulled my auction because they said I misrepresented my vehicle. My title says nothing on it about my vehicle being wrecked, salvaged or rebuilt, so I checked it off it as clear. Ebay's title search enlightened me as to the history of this vehicle. I was told it was "lightly wrecked" buy the banker I purchased it from. Now, almost 3 years & 10,000 miles later I find out it was a salvage vehicle & I am the 4th owner. Anyways, this nice little black 4 wheel drive non-smoker vehicle has not been off-roaded, or abused in anyway since I have owned it, sans getting me up & down the dirt road I live on when it's muddy or through snow in the winter. It has a strong running 4.0L HO rated @ 200hp w/ an automatic transmission & 3.73 gears since it's a "sport". It has about 400 more miles on the odometer than the picture shows because I took it out on sales calls last week. I forgot how much fun it was to drive & how many people check it out in traffic. Weighing no more than it does with the gearing & 200 ponies it sprints around in traffic effortlessly. The wheelbase is so short it can almost turn around and kiss it's own a... well, you get it. The tires still have lots of meat left on them, and the disks behind the wheels are Centramatic Dynamic Wheel Balancers. They smooth out the highway ride & claim to make tires last 15% longer. I was always gonna paint them black but never got around to it, they also keep brake dust off the wheels, keeping them much cleaner. I had local shop put the heaviest duty shocks they could on it, as well as the largest steering stabilizer shock that would fit in the stock bracket. I airbagged the front end for a little lift to level it out. I usually keep the psi toward the lower side for a nicer ride (what can I say, getting old stinks) As mentioned before, the heat/AC vents had a mind of their own till the little lever fell out a couple weeks ago- I can't get my hand up under the dash where it fell out to get it back in. It also could have used a little sweeping & dusting before I took pics, but I ran outta quarters at the car wash. When you live in the middle of farm country dust and gravel just seem to infiltrate everything. Other than that, it runs good, starts easy, drives like a champ (had new steering gear box & power steering pump put on maybe 750 miles ago). My kids are getting bigger, the Jeep is kind of cramped for space so I bought an older full sized Blazer a year ago and garaged the Jeep for the most part. The soft top has a couple small tears on the exterior and a little superficial wear, but doesn't leak. This vehicle is 8 years old. It is pretty nice but is not perfect. The cloth interior is top notch, no holes in seats or carpet that I have found. But it was wrecked and is in used condition. No warranty expressed or implied. That being said I'd hop in it and drive to Canada tomorrow if I wanted or needed to. It's never let me down, left me stranded or refused to start. It's been comforting to have around as a reliable, low mile back-up vehicle & I am gonna miss it..... Now down to business: this is an unreserved auction. DO NOT BID IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BUY! Payment to be made in full before vehicle is delivered. I will drive 100 miles any direction from my house to deliver/meet you for pick up. At that point I will remove my tag so have whatever transfer papers you need to be legal to drive or bring a car trailer. I also have this vehicle for sale locally and retain the right to end this auction at anytime. Thank you for your interest.
