Vehicle Detail

1949 Chevy 5-Window Street Rod Gorgeous!! VIN# 5HP129019 This truck was restored into a street rod by one of my Army buddies from the 60's and now we've both turned old. He's the guy who split the stovebolt 216 on my 51 Chevy Fleetline and I had the best sounding 6 cylinder around. He did a meticulous job on his '49 5 window and since his retirement needs to move on to another project that he's got in mind. Let me start by saying this truck has only had 1,500 miles put on it from completion in the last two years, always garaged and tucked away every day, never driven on anything but a full sunshiny day, never rained on and wiped down everyday, washed every week, not a ding or dent or anything that deters from being a true trailer queen and put up for sale at half the price to do another one like this. Shaved hood and tailgate, 1947 Chevy taillights, tilt steering wheel, new speedo, new 12 volt gauges. new grille, new headlight buckets, new rear fenders, roll pan, new windshield, new body and window seals, new door handles, Z racing wheels, sprayed bed liner, stake sockets closed up, electric windshield wipers, 12 volt wiring all new, professional door panels and upholstery that's new, custom carpet, Camaro front frame and axle with hand made brake lines, dropped spindles, dropped springs, hand made lowering blocks, Chevelle three speed transmission with floor conversion, Chevelle rear end, under body lighting, A mile street cam in a Chevy 350 bored 30 thousandths for power, with a 4 barrel carb, High velocity fan and electric 14" pusher, new radiator, Hugger Headers, All wiring is encased in plastic conduit for protection. The paint is a 99 ford copper pearl paint that cost $634.00 a gallon and done right. Front disc brakes with booster, rear drums, power steering, no heater, no air-conditioning, no radio. He wanted this as a show truck not a daily driver and wanted the dash clean and the engine compartment uncluttered as he did the tailgate which is tastefully bolted closed so as not to scar up any body work. All side air vents and window vents are leaded in to give it a clean look. Vintage air and heat can easily be added if wanted. I'm now out of breath and probably have missed something but it would hard to find a better one at this price anywhere. Door interior on driver's side Label that is vertical in door opening Chevrolet emblem at the bottom of door opening Bow tie emblem on step on both sides View of dash from the driver's door View of dash from the passenger door View of the instrument panel View of the seat from the passenger side View of the headliner wheels The truck is located in Eastern Kansas about 45 miles south of Kansas City and suggest the new owner have it transported enclosed or pick it up enclosed.
