Vehicle Detail
Classic Italian micro-mini car. This car is the classic 1958 Fiat Multipla 600 car, much sought after. This car is obviously in need of a restoration. I would say that the car is 75% there, but no guarantees as I haven't done a detailed inventory on the car, the most obvious items not there are some of the outside trim interior panels, etc. There are NO additional parts that are not in the pictures, so what you see is what you get. The body obviously has some rust issues, but nothing that appears unrestorable. The engine number is 4075637. I have not operated the engine, it does not turn over. A nicely restored Multipla is worth a mint. NADA has the value for a nicely restored car at $24,000. This does not assume a concourse car, just a good restoration. See the following link. http://www.nadaguides.com/default.aspx?LI=1-22-1-5013-0-0-0&l=1&w=22&p=1&f=5014&y=1959&m=1269&d=2678&c=14&vi=70882&z=84606&da=-1 A concourse level restoration values at $40,000 plus See http://www.barrett-jackson.com/application/onlinesubmission/lotdetails.aspx?ln=323.1&aid=343&pop=1 As far as shipping, I will try to help arrange it, the car does roll. I do have a clear Utah title certificate for the car, so it can be titled in your State or overseas without problem. The title says it is a 1956, however, comparing other Multiplas and their VIN numbers, I believe it is probably a 1958. FOR A BRIEF LITTLE HISTORY ON ALL OF THE FIAT 600 CARS, INCLUDING THIS ONE, GO TO http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiat_600 The mileage listed above is NOT ACTUAL. Based on the age of the car I cannot warrant odometer readings. Parts for this car are available in the US at www.fiatplus.com and at the eBay store http://stores.ebay.com/Everything-Fiat and some other locations in the US and online. I am a licensed and bonded car dealer and vintage car restorer in the State of Utah, Piccione's, #5869, which is important if you are financing the car through your bank, as dealer issued sales typically get lower interest rates than person to person sales. Financing is also available through eBay. Buyer pays for shipping (I can help arrange transport if you like, I have some cheap connections for various parts of the country), current rates run from 55 cents to 75 cents a mile depending on location and distance [further distances get lower rates]. Generally around $1100 to the east coast and around $550 to the west coast. Payment may be by certified bank check or money order, by wire transfer to bank account, or by loan check or personal check once cleared. Paypal is only acceptable through verified accounts for the initial deposit only. The buyer will submit a 5% of purchase price deposit within 72 hours of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle by PayPal or other verifiable payment method unless this requirement is waived by the seller after the auction end. Buyer agrees to pay the remaining balance due within 7 days of the close of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle. Buyer is responsible (if applicable) for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title/registration fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered in. Vehicle is sold as is and does not have warranty.
