Vehicle Detail

We WILL NOT accept any bids from outside of the United States. Also, we WILL NOT accept any offers outside of ebay. If you are interested in this vehicle.... please read ALL of the following details BEFORE placing your bid. For sale to the winning bidder.... a 1970 Dodge Charger 500 !!! My husband has had this car for about 19 years. This is a numbers matching car with a 383 HP engine (Data Tag has never been removed and states that the code is E63). The TRANSMISSION HAS BEEN REMOVED, but my husband does have the transmission kickdown linkage. It does have a drive shaft. It has manual brakes and a 8 3/4 rear axle. It has all original sheet metal and the floor panels are original and solid. There is a rust issue around the bottom of the back glass opening. Also, the driver side, rear lower quarter will need a lower patch panel. See the pictures. Otherwise it is a solid car. Most of the interior is original. The driver's seat has had some work done on it before my husband bought the car. The seats are in fair condition and usable, but could use new covers. My husband took the carpet out when he got the car to help save the floors. The dash area is still intact from the factory. As far as my husband knows it has never been taken apart. The headliner was taken out about a year ago because it was falling down, but he does have the headliner bows. All glass seems to be in good condition for it's age. It's clear and does not have any cracks. The trunk floor is in good condition. It has some pitting in the middle with a couple of small rust holes. The sides and extensions of the trunk are in very good condition. See the pictures. As far as my husband knows, the only filler is in the areas where the factory put it and someone fillered over the vinyl top chrome holes where the vinyl top had been removed. The car has been repainted, so he can't assure that there is not anymore filler. From what my husband knows about the car, it doesn't have all the major repair issues that most 68-70 Chargers do. The frame is solid from front to back. The gas tank was replaced when he first got the car, but it will need to be cleaned out. The car will also need exhaust and a radiator. The motor has not been rebuilt, but it has a new timing set and has been cleaned up if you want to use as is. When my husband bought the car he took the original motor out and put in another 383 that had been rebuilt, but he later used the rebuilt motor for another project and put the original back in the car. He hoped to get it going again but never did. So, the car has been garaged or covered ever since. The car rolls very well, but will need new tires. This is a restoration project that would be perfect for a quick rebuild. Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 The car will be sold with a clear, state of Georgia, Bill of Sale. We are PayPal approved, and require a deposit of $1000.00 (non-refundable) (US currency only) to be deposited into PayPal within 24 hours of the auction end. We will be glad to answer any questions VIA EBAY ONLY.... unless you are a frequent bidder. Our number is unlisted and will only be available to the frequent bidders. We hope this car is the "restoration project" that you've been looking for. Happy bidding and have a blessed day!
