Thanks for viewing my auction. Offering a nice unmolested and unmodified one owner first generation Datsun 240z. I recently purchased this car from the original owners estate. Owner was a female artist that bought the car new. She only put 99,000 miles on the car it was her baby, always maintained and well cared for. At some point she was not able to drive any more and the car was not used for the past ten years or so. After giving the car a minor tune up and changing the fluids the car came to life. The engine ran well there were no objectionable noises or smoke. The clutch was not working so I bled the system and was able to get it working again. The brake pedal went to the floor so I was only able to drive the car around the block using the hand brake to slow the car down. The body is fairly original no evidence of any accidents or prior damage. It appears most of the car has been painted and lower body has had rust repairs done at some point. Car looks ok but really needs the rest of the rust removed and a fresh paint job, color of your choice of course. Interior is in good shape with minor wear, here and there. The console, seats, and dash are in good shape but there is a minor crack on the top of dash pad 2" long, and hard to see. I did take a picture but it is not really visible. The passenger door only opens from the inside of the vehicle. The gauges seemed to work as well as the fan, lights, blinkers, horn, etc. Note pictures were taken when iginition switch was out. New switch has been installed and it is all put back together. The under side will need some repairs. Please view the pictures and judge for yourself. The tires look good with lots of tread life but I would change them any ways do to their age. I purchased this car with hopes of taking it to the next level, but I think it needs a little more attention and dollars that I am not able to provide at this time. This car has been off the road for 10 years or so and is not safe to drive on the street. Car sold as is no guarantee or warranty please ask questions prior to bidding.
