1978 Dodge Power Wagon. I have owned this truck for the last five years. Very dependable truck with full-time four wheel drive with high and low range. Goes through snow like no other. It has a 318Cu.In. engine and a three speed automatic trans. Comes with Meyer plow equipped. Recently purchased and installed before last winter used lightly. Needs a little work now but it performed great last winter. The truck IS getting rough. It has needs to make it nice and I have too many projects already. Purchased with the intention of fixing it up but I have other projects that came along since. Ive replaced the floor boards and cab mounts and roughed in a patch on the drivers side bedside wheel opening. The stock two barrel carb and intake have been replaced with an aluminum edelbrock intake on top of which sits a Holley four barrel. Originals included with truck. Camshaft, timing chain, and hydraulic lifters have been replaced recently. Also front wheel bearings $$$, brake master cylinder and booster replaced not long ago.Along with a few other things. Also included are a drivers side door, tailgate, box of parts original to the engine and two BFGoodrich All-Terrains to throw on the back to match the fronts. Grille is in great shape, its a shame to cover it up the the plow rig but it seemed like a good idea when the snow was on its way. Truck has approx. 84,000 miles on it. Has a bench seat and no carpet. The frame is SOLID and that is the important part. However the rockers and the doors are showing their age and need attention -not to mention the other million things if you really want to make it nice. But if you are a Mopar nut like me and don't have too many projects and can focus on one this may be for you. It could also just be used as a plow truck. Whatever your intention you can rest assured it IS a POWER WAGON and it thrives off the blacktop. Where ever you need to go it will get you there! Rain, Snow, Sleet , Hell ,or High water.
