Up for auction is my wife's Rx-8 that just had the motor replaced under warranty by Mazda. How new is the motor?...at the time of this listing the engine has 48 miles on it. (her new car has not arrived yet so she is still driving this one, so mileage will be higher) The battery was replaced at the same time. And in July it received (4) new tires. Folks, this is going to be a great deal for someone. So we have an adult, non smoker, one owner vehicle and its the Grand Touring model so its loaded with exception of NAV. The 8 also comes with Side Airbag protection. Also has heated front seats. With new engine, battery and tires. Overall condition of the car is very good for its age. It has the typical scratches, rock chips that are to be expected from a daily driver. The same goes for the interior, in good shape with normal wear & tear for a six year old car. Please see the pictures. The car has never been in a major accident and all maintenance & updates have always been performed by Jeff Haas Mazda of Houston. The engine was replaced by them as well, so they have all the records. (which are available upon my authorization) The pictures will show that the rims have curb rash but no major damage, (did I say how much I love my wife). Known issues: plastic trim at base of drivers seat unsnaps and you have to snap it back together. Vehicle has dealer add-on window tint that needs freshening up. The car will come with the owners manual, 2-keys with remotes and one spare key. Winning Bidder: I will accept a $500.00 Non-Refundable deposit via Paypal within (2) days of Auction close and the remainder of the purchase price must be paid within (7) days of Auction close. I prefer a Bank Wire Transfer or Cash. You can pay with a Cashiers Check drawn on a U.S Bank but until my bank gives me the all clear, the car & title stay at home. Before bidding, please make sure you have the financial means to pay for the vehicle. Shipping: I will do my best to assist with whatever arrangements the buyer makes. This car is sold AS IS and only the manufacturer powertrain coverage can be transferred to the buyer. I have done my best to list any known defects or issues this vehicle may have. In the end its a six year old car with a fresh motor, battery and tires. After payment in full has cleared, I will provide a clear title and bill of sale. Please ask any questions before bidding. <---Ask questions first, then bid. If you want the vehicle inspected prior to bidding and the auction's close that is fine. It will be at your expense and to accomodate work schedules only a mobile inspection service is going to be a viable option for you. So please plan accordingly. Just to be clear...do not buy and then ask for the inspection. this is an active auction, not a classified ad. I am getting some questions that I will address - I hope this helps. Why was engine replaced...low compression. Only known issues are those listed above. At the time I picked up the car from the dealer for the engine work they gave it a clean bill of health, in other words it did not need anything. Please do not bid on this vehicle if you DO NOT have the money right now to pay for this auction. The VIN number is listed on this auction so please feel free to order a Carfax report at your own expense. Why are you selling - ordered my wife a new car that is arriving in a couple weeks.
