Vehicle Detail

I am selling my trusty 190E 2.3 which I use almost daily for commuting to work. The reason for selling is that I am taking over my wife's '99 SLK for commuting, as she is getting a new car. I bought this 190E in 2004 with 116K miles on it and have put on almost 100K myself. It is very reliable and comfortable. It has ABS brakes, a driver's airbag and is very safe and sturdy, being built very well. Everything works, all lights, wipers, gauges, switches, sunroof, cruise control, rear defogger, electric windows, electric radio antenna, vacuum locking system. However the two exceptions are the following: Radio - very poor reception and speaker quality A/C - was converted to modern R134 system a few years ago, but I have to normally get a refrigerant charge every summer, and this year I did not, so it is not blowing cold. It usually holds a charge all summer. The car was never smoked in. The Goodyear Assurance Triple Tred all-season tires are almost new, as are the brakes and the battery. I recently replaced the spark plugs, air filter, fuel pump relay, distributor cap and rotor, so it is running very smoothly and getting great gas mileage. The best I've ever gotten is 29-30mpg, mostly highway driving. It always passes inspection. It does have a "lazy reverse" gear situation for several years. What this means is that when placing it in "R", it takes a few moments to "settle in" to gear, and likes to back up at its own pace; giving it too much gas is no good-I usually just get off the gas and let it back up by itself. The forward gears are all fine. I have always changed the oil and filter and kept it tuned up and I have service records dating back to November 2004, covering almost the past 100K miles. The cylinder head was rebuilt just under two years ago so that is all new. There are a few minor dents in the front fenders that can be see in the photos, but otherwise the body is in very good condition. The paint is very shiny and looks good after a waxing. (Note: I am also selling a set of mounted Blizzak winter tires on sport wheels for this car, which can be negotiated at the same time of the sale of the car. These are in good condition and I would be asking around $200 for the complete set.)
