This car starts with the turn of a key with no hesitation. I have taken this car to Chicago, IL as well last year on a trip to see my family. This car will not leave you stranded. The engine is strong and the tranny has no problems. Today you are bidding on a 1993 Honda Civic DX hatchback 1.5 4 cylinder automatic. I purchased this car 5 years ago and it has run great. In New York, cars are inspected annually to make sure the car is in perfect mechanical condition. The car was recently inspected January 2010. Upon inspection, the station checks, suspension, lights, major leaks, serpentine belts/pully, tires, exhaust, brakes, wipers, check engine lights, and seat belts. The car has always past due to me keeping up with the maintenance of the car. Last year I put a new aftermarket OEM exhaust from the cat back, struts all the way around, brakes, radiator, tires and Injen cold air intake. I also put a new oil pan, and gas tank on it the beginning of this year. At the end of 2008 I had the head gaskets changed at 100,000 miles and had the head pressure tested to avoid any problems with the engine. I tuned it up about a month ago with new wires, distributor cap/rotor, spark plug and fuel filter. By keeping up with the engine, this engine will outlast the body of the car. The car has a Viper 2-way alarm with remote start. The only reason this car is being sold is to put my down payment on my new car. The car does not have a radio, but it does have new door speakers and 6x9's in the back. I have a cheap cd player I will throw in, but I do not know how to install it. It is already wired if you are looking to throw a system in it. This car starts everyday for me and never has let me down. I put $25 in gas and it last me 1 1/2 weeks. The car was painted about 4 years ago, but I let my girl drive it and she dinged it on the driver front fender slightly, the quarter panels have minor dents in it as well as shown in the picture. They do not have holes in it like some Honda's are notorious for. The driver door has a small dent on the passenger side where the handle is as shown in the picture. My son ran his bicycle into. Other than that, the body is in great shape. I do not hide anything when it comes to selling a car, because I do not come married to it. This car is adult owned and I do not race or have any minors driving my car. I recently just purchased a new car and do not need a second car. I have some paperwork from Pepboys showing the things I have done to this car in the past. It will eventually need an alternator. Once in a while the battery light will flash for a couple of seconds, but when I had Pepboys run a test on the alternator, they said the alternator is good. They explained might be intermittent and not to worry about it for now. I recently changed the battery 3 months ago. Pickup of the vehicle is up to the buyer. I do not provide shipping for this car, but will hold in my yard until you can come and pick it up. I will hold for 30 days for you if need be, but after that, you must come and pickup. This would be a perfect car for going to work. Or you can throw a turbo and Greddy Catback exhaust and have a fast hatchback. These hatchbacks are hard to find and they are bought to be raced due to how light they are. Bid with confidence.
