Vehicle Detail

I am selling this 1978 Grand Marquis since I really have no time to enjoy it anymore. Its a 2 door, 2 tone , with a full list of toys that make it a very desirable car for the collector, or weekend car buff. It does need some restoration, ie: paint and some leather work, but is a solid original South Carolina car and will end up being one of a very few left in existence. I bought it two years ago, and have not had the time to do with it what it really needed. It's equipped with a 460-V8, Manual A/C, Forged Aluminum Wheels, 2 tone leather interior, Power Windows, Locks, Trunk, Drivers seat, Tilt, Cruise, and a VERY RARE Factory Moonroof. I have many new and used parts that will be sent with the car including bumpers, header panel, trims, a second like new original factory HR78-15 factory spare tire, and brand new window and moonroof weatherstripping. On the exterior there is minor damage to the header panel on the RF, and surface rust on the LR quarter panel, and below the rear window. Both bumpers have dents in them, and the rear has pitting and surface rust. (I have better bumpers that will go with the car as well as the replacement header panel) On the interior, the front seats are cracked and faded from sun, but no tears, the rear seat has some discoloration from sun on the top of the seat back, but the 2 tone colors are still very nice and the leather is still quite soft and nice. The dash pad is good, as is the headliner and door panels and trunk. The carpet needs to be replaced in time... there is a tear in the rear seat area. I have other used Mercury parts for cars of that era that I am willing to sell as well. To the best of my knowledge, the mileage is accurate. The car has just been tuned up and is drivable, but has not been out on the road much at all in the last 2 years. I would suggest trailering it for any distance. Any questions will be answered right away, and additional pictures can be e-mailed upon request.
