Nearly 50MPG, really remarkableAlloy wheelsReliable 5-speed manual transmission Thorough maintenanceThis vehicle comes with about 30 pages of service records. Everything necessary was attended to, including a recent replacement of the injection pump. Battery also fairly new.Condition-Cosmetics-Car is fresh. Black paint is nice. Normal stone chipping on front of vehicle and hood. Some scratches/scuffs on rear bumper where luggage scuffed on the way in/out of the back. Headlamp lenses are nice. Wheels are in nice shape with good michelin energy tires. Interior also nice, clean neutral smelling. Headliner clean, carpets and seats in good condition. Minor piling on driver's seat fabric. Finish on interior door handles is worn/scratched as is common on Golf's and Jetta's. Mechanical-Very good condition. As stated earlier, vehicle was religiously maintained. Car drives very nicely, clutch is smooth and strong. Engine is smooth and quiet. Transmission shifts nicely. Tires at about half life. Brakes above 50% front and rear. A/C blows icy cold. Very nice.It is rare to find a TDI Golf. It is also rare to find one that is an honest car with good maintenance. It is most difficult to find all these at a bargain price so that it is so easy to start saving $$ on fuel.
