1936 Ford Pickup This is an older, amatuer restored pickup. This truck is a great foundation to fix up for a really nice hot rod, or an economical truck just to play around in as-is. The truck is equipped with a 351W engine and a C4 automatic transmission. It has an independent front suspension with manual rack and pinion and a 9" Ford rear end. This truck is all steel except the rear fenders which are fiberglass. The paint job is in decent shape but there is some plastic filler in the body. Some (as shown in the photos) is coming out a bit. A few minor scratches and wear spots are visible as well. This truck runs and drives and has a clear title. Obviously the bed hasn't been finished. I have a tailgate to go with this truck that is salvageable. Depending on how picky you want to get on your hot rod, this truck could use a rear sump oil pan on the engine to allow it to be reset lower in the frame rails. Also the rear end is slightly off location and would look better with smaller leaf springs and set back an inch or so. The choice is yours now, do you drive and play with the truck as is, or do you make it into a really nice hot rod with a little work? Thanks for looking. Good luck if you decide to bid.
