1929 Nash Advanced Twin Ignition 6 model 470. Top of the line Nash for 29. Features 278 cu. in. 6 OHV with 7 main bearings with 80hp. 3 7/16 bore X 5 stroke. 12 spark plugs, 2 coils, 2 breakers and capacitors. 3 speed transmission. Rigid double drop X braced frame. Bijur centralized chassis lube system. Full presure oiling to mains, rods, wrist pin, cam, rockershaft & timing chain. Direct metered oil spray to cylinder walls, cam lobes & tappets. Rear privacy shades & electric lighter. This car was ordered with the Royal option package featuring 12 spoke 7 lug 20" wheels, full width rear bumper & luggage rack. This Nash has had the motor, clutch, transmission and rear rebuilt. The chassis along with wheel bearings and brakes were restored along with the fenders, running boards and chrome. The body has the original paint and pin stripping. The interior is original and very nice. This Nash was last owned by the Seaman Body Co. family, who built all the bodies for Nash and others. This Nash is very reliable and runs down the road great! It has been certified a HPOF (Historical Preservation of Original Features) vehicle by AACA (Antique Auto Club of America) in 2010.
