1949 Chevy Pickup Truck This is an awesome truck!!!!! It is a 1949 Chevrolet Pickup Truck that has been reconstructed and sits on a 1995 3500series 4x4 chassis with complete drivetrain... This truck has had extensive work put into it to get this done and it is all in working ordr and great shape. This baby will go down the road at 100 mph straight as an arrow if you so desire. The original cab and pickup body is all steel and original and has not been cut up or altered in any way... The truck was adopted to the chassis in a professional way and is very solid and powerful. It has a V-8 350 5.7L Engine and it purrrrrrrs like a kitten. It has a manual 4 speed transmission with a brand new clutch set up. This truck was just services and tuned up along with a new battery. It has a 12volt electrical system with 105 amp alternator. The interior has not been changed or altered except for the seats which came out of the 1995 pickup. They are buckets with a console (grey velour). The dash gauges have been updated and are all in perfect working order. The steering column was out of the 1995 with the ignition switch in the steering column which locks. The truck also has a brand new 12volt heater for inside the cab. All the glass is perfect, except for the drivers side window which is cracked and needs to be replaced. This truck is super solid with NO RUST!!!!! The floor pans, doors, fenders are all 100% solid. The tailgate has a few dents but nothing serious. It is a 1949 and original. It has a slide out ramp, the comes out from under the bed to load motorcycles, furniture etc. Our harley has seen many a day on the back of this truck, as we took it on trips. This truck will never let you down and starts at the first turn and will take you anywhere you need to go. It also has 5 BRAND NEW TIRES with less then 50 miles on them. It has a class three trailer hitch and will pull a house down if need be. The gas mileage is great!!! I run it on midgrade fuel all day long with no problems. It also has a heavy duty large radiator and an external electric cooling fan as we are in the desert we get 115 degree days, this truck is never a problem. This truck does hot have A/C or a radio. The factory dash is in tact and it never came with one. It also has power disc brakes, power steering, and all the necessary lighting works!! There are no leaks, noises, or anything negative that I can think of to mention. This is not a show truck, but if you want to put a little time and effort into it, this truck definitely has the potential to be one. This is a nice looking truck. The paint is good. The sun visor makes it look like a BAD BOY... The 4 wheel drive has manual warren locking hubs when you want to put it into 4 wheel drive. We have set a very modest reserve and are sure the new owner will be VERY PLEASED with this truck. We have too many toys and a few have to go, we have no room. Please only bid if you intend to follow through with the purchase. We are new to this ebay thing but have heard many stories of people not following through with the purchase.
