1996 GMC 3500 crew cab 4x4. This truck is equipped with the 6.5 diesel, 5 speed manual, cloth seats, rubber floor mats,sliding rear window, gooseneck hitch, reece hitch, running boards and spray in bed liner. This truck is used daily here on our farm, and is very reliable. I keep my equipment in good working order, if it breaks, it is repaired right. In the last year the following was replaced, 2 new batteries, diesel injection pump, diesel lift pump, starter, alternator, clutch, rear main crankshaft seal, all 4 wheel brakes, reseal the rear differential, new seals and bearing in the transfer case, paint professionally touched up, new cross over exhaust pipe, new exhaust to rear of truck, new glow plugs,new A/C compressor, new vacuum pump. This truck runs and drives great, shift good as well. I have used this truck to work with, it is not a city truck. It has pulled a 24 livestock trailer regularly, pulled farm equipment, and gets dirty. I have always tried to take care of it, but there are a few scrapes, minor dents. I also have a nearly new tailgate for it that has not seen much use, the best place for a tailgate is in the barn, in my opinion. Currently the A/C needs recharged, it stopped blowing cold air a couple weeks ago. The left rear fender has a scrape, and a bottom piece of fiber glass broke, an easy fix. Other that that, the truck is in good shape. If you want a spotless truck, this is not the one for you, if you want a well cared for, reliable truck, come and look at this one. The tires are about 50%, the front 2 are newer than the rear 4 by about 9 months. I have serviced it every 3000 mile, and our local shop, has done all the repairs. The interior is in good condition, seats are not torn, but do have minor stains, and a small burn hole in the front seat. I don't smoke, but a friend did drop an ash on the seat.
