Vehicle Detail

This Chevrolet is clean and sound. It is not show quality as there are various details which could be improved (see listing below). I have owned this car 11 years and it is a pleasure to drive. I had a factory new "Mr. Goodwrench" 350 engine installed shortly after I bought the car. It is rated at 220 hp. Compression ratio is 9/1, which permits using regular gas. The rear end ratio is 3.36 to one. I do not know the actual mileage for the car. It shows only 439 miles on the odometer. The speedometer was disconnected when I bought the car. It is fully functional now. I have driven the car less than 2,000 miles since purchase. Other parts installed since I purchased the car include: (1) rebuilt 4 speed Muncie transmission, (2) new brass/copper radiator, (3) new exhaust system, (4) alternator, (5) new clutch and pressure plate, (6) new rear shocks, (7) 4 new radial 225/75/R15 BF Goodrich tires, and (8) new fuel sending unit. There is a spare tire included with wheel identical to those mounted on the car. Defects include: (1) The center piece of the three-piece bumper has a small streak of surface rust on the driver's side rear edge (see photo). (2) The interior door panel has a worn through spot under the window crank (driver's side, see photo). (3) There is a small dent in the passenger side door (see photo). (4) Two of the body cross supports (under side, outer edges) have rust damage. They are still straight and structurally solid. These are easy to replace. (5) The front coil springs appear to be original and have spacers inserted to lift the car slightly. This does not affect the performance of the car, and once again, is easily upgraded. This was the next upgrade I was going to make, and I have a new set of springs for the car which are included in this auction. (6) A previous owner has installed oil pressure and ammeter gages in the dash (see photo). These are functional and useful, but detract from the original appearance of the dash. (7) The radio does not work. (8) The heater does not work (core leaks). I have a deluxe heater for the car (with control unit, less cables). Will include for $100 extra.
