Up for auction is this nice old Willys DJ6 Jeep. I bought this from a collector in KC MO and he had it for over 25 years stored in his building. I understand that this is a hard Willys model to find. It was bought new by Merrit Dairy and used to sell Ice Cream out of. The Delight Company bought it and made it into the Ice Cream Jeep by adding the top which unbolts and makes it into a normal DJ6, their brass tag is rivited to the firewall as seen in pictures . The body is nearly rust free as it was never used in winter months. The floor panels and fender wells are in very good condition. There are some dings in the fenders and dents here and there but are very solid. The engine is the 4 banger and has a 3 speed manual tranny. I believe these are orignial miles as it runs and operates very smooth. No blow-by on engine. This will make a great restoration project as the basics are very complete and solid.
