Vehicle Detail
1965 ford f250 pickup in very good condition. As pictured this is basically a rust free vehicle that is mechanically sound. It has a 352 cubic inch engine. with a 4 speed transmission. The body is basically straight. with a slight dent on the LF fender. The back bed floor is almost perfect with no dents in the bed or fender well area which is very unusual. The dent free tailgate appears to be original. It has 3 tanks with a 3 way valve but i have only used the seat tank. All the lights work as they should, brakes work fine tire's have good tread, dual exhaust pipes are solid. Engine runs fine with maybe a slight manifold leak, no oil puddles under the truck, however valve cover may have some oil leaks. Nice remote CD Radio proffessionally installed in the pocket, original radio retained. Please remember this is a 45 year old truck that has not been restored, but mostly in its original condition including some paint work in the past, with a few upgrades in the interior including a new seat cover and a new headliner. The wind shield does have a small crack. If you are looking for a mid 60s truck that is ready to drive this truck is for you. Clear Ga. title. Any question call 912-583-2557On Aug-25-10 at 15:24:08 PDT, seller added the following information: Had some request for more pictures.. Also was asked if this vehicle could be driven 1000 miles. I would drive it that far but i cannot give a 1000 mile gaurantee. I drive it about twice a week but am usually glad to get back into my 2006 GMC with Air, Power steering, electric (heated and cooled) seats, and so on. Was asked about the front end? I consider it fairly tight with no major wobble going down the road. The farm Bureau emblems are magnetic and do not go with the truck. A reminder that there is 1 or 2 runs in the paint. Was asked about the bed area of the truck, only service rust in front part of the bed. This bed is very solid. Wanted to make sure i did not leave anthing out. Thx. Again BudOn Aug-25-10 at 15:47:38 PDT, seller added the following information: One more thing. The release bearing is a little noisy when backing up in reverse. Does not affect anything.Thx.
