Vehicle Detail
1934 Ford Roadster, fun driver, runs/drives great, stops great, really fund to drive. Powerful dressed up Flathead. If you're looking for a fun driver, this is about as fun as it gets. If you're looking for a trailer queen show car, this probably isn't the car for you. It gets driven, and shows some signs of being on the road. This roadster is a reproduction body on a real frame/drivetrain. I've included pictures, will be taking some video shortly, and will describe everything to the best detail possible. If you have questions PLEASE ASK! I'd be happy to answer any questions you have, and will always post the answers for everyone to see. Feel free to email me at confederado@msn.com if you want pictures of anything specific. This is a NO RESERVE auction, so bid what you are willing to pay. I will ship anywhere in the world as long as you pay for it, and we can work out storage if necessary for a short term. I am asking for a $1500 deposit paid within 24hrs, and the balance to be paid within 5 business days of that. Please don't bid if you don't have the money and if you're not serious about paying. Now with the details- The GOOD: FUN! Car has an original (with VIN) 1934 Ford chassis, 1940 Ford hydraulic brakes work great, '39 Ford truck trans, Superbell dropped front axle, steering stabilizer, steers/handles great. All new red interior, not a single tear in the seats/door panels, trunk is upholstered to match, headlights/tailights work, brake lights work, drives straight and is comfortable at 70-75 MPH. Has a "duvall" style windshield, 59AB Ford Flathead, Almquist 2x2 intake, 2 Holly 94 carbs w/frogmouths, I think the heads are aluminum (Canadian?) heads, but not 100% sure, Mallory distributor, Reds custom headers, dual exhaust, sounds great! Electric fan, all steel vented hood, Lincoln hub caps, White Wall tires, the car definitely has "the look", original '34 Ford steering wheel, overall the call starts right up and runs great. Real head turner, the perfect car to run around town and take to cruise nights. The BAD: Bottom radiator hoses need replaced. They are the wrong hoses, and the kink a little rather than bend. This causes the car to heat up if you drive on the highway for too long (30 mins or so). Although interior is in great shape, the car does get driven. The carpet has a few spots and you can tell it's not brand new. The speedo and tach do not work (not hooked up?). There is some paint scuffs and scratches on the running boards, and some areas around the firewall and grill that have been scratched/chipped over the years, some of which have been touched up but are still noticeable. No turn signals on the car. If you want them, you would need to get an aftermarket kit. Needs a trunk latch. The car doesn't leak, it runs great, is a great "driver quality" roadster and with a little tinkering will make someone a very nice car. TITLE: I got this car from a state that does not issue titles on antique vehicles. There is no title. Bill of Sale with be provided. There is a clear (visible) VIN # stamped into the frame, so obtaining a title/registration for your state should be simple. A black 34 Ford roadster w/white walls, running a flathead through dual exhaust. It doesn't get much cooler than that! (unless it's an all steel car and you pay$60k!) Let me know if you have any questions, I'm happy to answer them.
