Vehicle Detail

Vehicle Description I'm selling a 1941 Chevy 1/2 ton truck. I believe you can make more money off of the parts than you will pay for this truck. I am the third owner. The second owner bought this off the original family owners who used it on their ranch and then parked it in the early 60's. If they had only drove it around the ranch for twenty years than the 10,449 miles on the odometer is right. I am going through a divorce and no longer have a house to keep the truck at. So I'm forced to sell it - so it needs to go! As you can see the truck needs some work, BUT there are no serious rust issues. It's been a Central California truck all its life, as evidenced by the black plates. I have a 1941 license plate and a 1963. I was told it has never seen snow and never been on salted roads. The worst rust spots are a few bubbles at the middle and bottom of the doors (see pics). The truck needs a total restoration or would make a great hot rod or rat rod project. It's mostly complete, missing things like the seat, front window, and horn. What you see is what I have and what you get. The tires are shot, but should hold air. The drums are sticky, so bring a trailer and a winch. The motor looks complete, but I don't know if it runs - please assume it does not. Three of the fenders are pretty good; the passenger rear is shot I have removed it but still have it. The driver rear fender has some splits and dents. The bed cab and hood are very nice. The color IS NOT RUST. The rancher actually primed the original green truck with black fenders, before storing it to prevent it from rusting, which is why it's lasted so long. I don't want any surprises for you or me, so please ask all questions before bidding. Payment is expected in full within 5 days of close and you have to pick this truck up within 10 days of close. I accept cash or money orders. Finally, there is no title with the truck. I can get you a bill of sale, but it hasn't been in the system since the 60's so it shouldn't be a problem registering it. This is a rare truck. In 1941 world war two began and we did not make trucks in 42, 43, 44 and the first half of 45. Thanks for looking!
